Q: Why do I need to fill in a form?

A: It saves a lot of “back and forth” and gives me all the information I need all in one place, I can also only guarantee what’s on your form (if I take the booking), if your inquire for 3 bridesmaids to be styled, that’s what I’ll be expecting , if you decide to add on or make any changes I can only try do my best but I can’t guarantee any large changes from your form won’t result in a loss of booking (for instance changing your wedding date, as I may already be booked)

Q: Where are you based?

A: I’m local to LE12, Leicestershire, Derby, Nottingham and East Midlands Area – However I travel out to your Home/Venue for wedding day and trial hair styling, I don’t really have a maximum distance, however anything over a hours drive may require a hotel stay.

I have been as far as St.Ive’s for wedding hair styling, but usually its ‘Local’ brides within an hour and it’s just a small added petrol cost to your bill.

Q: Can I get a quote?

A: There is a pricelist always available to view on my website , youll find it on the same page as my contact form - theres one for Tue- Sat and Bank holidays/Sundays.

Q: How do I prep my hair?

A: if you can make sure yourself and your bridal party have clean, fresh and totally dry hair, I would advise to have your colour and cut fresh (1-2 weeks before trial & wedding day) for best results, and to use the appropriate hair care (if you need help with this, just ask!)

Q:Do I need to pay a deposit?

A: yes, once I’ve received your Inquiry Form, and I know I can take your booking, we will make arrangements to have a phone consultation, this lets you put a voice to the name, and ask any questions you have! Its just a little more personal than Emails; once your totally happy and want to book I’ll send you a text with my Bank Details on, I require a £20.00 deposit from the Bride to secure the date, this is taken off the wedding day bill once the booking is honoured.

At your Trial, any Bridesmaids not having a trial but wish to secure a styling spot on your wedding day may be asked to pay a £20 deposit at the wedding hair trial, again this cost is taken off the wedding day bill only when the booking is honoured and secures their spot on the day

Q: Anything I should know?

A: I require no smoking around me, dogs to be safely put away and children to be watched, this is to keep everyone safe!

I also need a plug, table and chair and parking provided.

Q: What if there are any issues?

A: Here are the T&Cs I have in place! You have 10 days from the date of your trial, to get in touch if you feel I am not the artist for you, your deposits will be retuned but I cannot refund work I have already done,

In the event of accident/illness or injury/events out of my control, my promise is to give as much notice as possible, and do everything within my power to find you another stylist ( I also want to promise that I genuinely love my job, attendance to wedding bookings and keeping my 5* only reviews & happy brides is my priority ) – in the un lightly event that I do have to cancel a booking your deposits will be returned to you

Should you cancel a booking, change locations/dates/times/numbers and I’m no longer able to carry on with the booking your deposits will be lost.

Q: What About Trials?

A:  My advice is to book your trial ASAP, that’s not to have your trial, but just to have a date in. (this is once you’ve booked officially )

My advice is 3 – 6 months before the big day , 6 if you are unsure or unhappy with your hair and may want a few go’s or have never had your hair professionally put up before – 3 if you are feeling confident and are used to having your hair styled

My suggestion is not to squeeze in trials; hair is art, and rushing may result in your hair not being up to standard (and this makes me sad!)

A few T&C’s-

I would also like to remind you that your trial date could be someone’s special day (even mid-week!)

I require 1 months’ notice to cancel or rearrange your trial, or you deposit may be lost – this isn’t to say your booking is cancelled (unless it happens more than once) just your deposit cost will help recover the costs of those I’ve turned down, and kit / products I’ve brought especially for you

This is why I require 1 month notice, 2 person minimum for a week day booking and 3 minimum on a weekend

Extreme weather/acts of god.

As you can understand there are a few things out of my control, like extreme weather (snow especially ) it may make it impossible to actually get to you! Now this has never happened (touches wood*) but please be aware most venues are out ‘in the sticks’ so the back roads and even main roads may be impassable, now the lightly hood is if it’s so bad I can’t get to you, your wedding may be rescheduled anyway due to lack of staff or guests or venue policys!

I will of course get to you if its within my power, but should it be a risk to life – I will return your deposit, and any pre-paid payment for the wedding morning (please note I cannot refun work already produced/trial) and do my best to find a stylist that may be closer/able to travel (this may not be a possibility!) and simply offer to do my best to re-book you for your new date, providing it’s not a previously booked brides big day ; this unfortunately is a bigger risk from Nov-Feb Brides.
