Q: Why do I need to fill in a form?

A: It saves a lot of “back and forth” and gives me all the information I need all in one place, I can also only guarantee what’s on your form (if I take the booking), if your inquire for 3 bridesmaids to be styled, that’s what I’ll be expecting , if you decide to add on or make any changes I can only try do my best but I can’t guarantee any large changes from your form won’t result in a loss of booking (for instance changing your wedding date, as I may already be booked)

Q: Where are you based?

A: I’m local to LE12, Leicestershire, Derby, Nottingham and East Midlands Area – However I travel out to your Home/Venue for wedding day and trial hair styling, I don’t really have a maximum distance, however anything over a hours drive may require a hotel stay.

I have been as far as St.Ive’s for wedding hair styling, but usually its ‘Local’ brides within an hour and it’s just a small added petrol cost to your bill.

Q: Can I get a quote?

A: There is a pricelist always available to view on my website and Facebook page , it’s very hard to give an exact quote until your trial, all hair is so different and prices are ‘done’ on how much hair you have (thick/long), how intricate the design is, how much time is needed and how much product you need;

your hair cost will be within the ‘pricelist ‘cost, and you will get a full run down of exact costs, start times at your trial.

Q: How do I prep my hair?

A: if you can make sure yourself and your bridal party have clean, fresh and totally dry hair, I would advise to have your colour and cut fresh (1-2 weeks before trial & wedding day) for best results, and to use the appropriate hair care (if you need help with this, just ask!)

Q:Do I need to pay a deposit?

A: yes, once I’ve received your Inquiry Form, and I know I can take your booking, we will make arrangements to have a phone consultation, this lets you put a voice to the name, and ask any questions you have! Its just a little more personal than Emails; once your totally happy and want to book I’ll send you a text with my Bank Details on, I require a £20.00 deposit from the Bride to secure the date, this is taken off the wedding day bill once the booking is honoured.

At your Trial, any Bridesmaids not having a trial but wish to secure a styling spot on your wedding day may be asked to pay a £20 deposit at the wedding hair trial, again this cost is taken off the wedding day bill only when the booking is honoured and secures their spot on the day

Q: Anything I should know?

A: I require no smoking around me, dogs to be safely put away and children to be watched, this is to keep everyone safe!

I also need a plug, table and chair and parking provided.

Q: What if there are any issues?

A: Here are the T&Cs I have in place! You have 10 days from the date of your trial, to get in touch if you feel I am not the artist for you, your deposits will be retuned but I cannot refund work I have already done,

In the event of accident/illness or injury/events out of my control, my promise is to give as much notice as possible, and do everything within my power to find you another stylist ( I also want to promise that I genuinely love my job, attendance to wedding bookings and keeping my 5* only reviews & happy brides is my priority ) – in the un lightly event that I do have to cancel a booking your deposits will be returned to you

Should you cancel a booking, change locations/dates/times/numbers and I’m no longer able to carry on with the booking your deposits will be lost.

Q: What About Trials?

A: My advice is to book your trial ASAP, that’s not to have your trial, but just to have a date in. (this is once you’ve booked officially )

My advice is 3 – 6 months before the big day , 6 if you are unsure or unhappy with your hair and may want a few go’s or have never had your hair professionally put up before – 3 if you are feeling confident and are used to having your hair styled

My suggestion is not to squeeze in trials; hair is art, and rushing may result in your hair not being up to standard (and this makes me sad!)

A few T&C’s-

I would also like to remind you that your trial date could be someone’s special day (even mid-week!)

I require 1 months’ notice to cancel or rearrange your trial, or you deposit may be lost – this isn’t to say your booking is cancelled (unless it happens more than once) just your deposit cost will help recover the costs of those I’ve turned down, and kit / products I’ve brought especially for you

This is why I require 1 month notice, 2 person minimum for a week day booking and 3 minimum on a weekend
